The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded Saturday, 11 p.m. to the area of US Highway 50 and Apache Drive in Stagecoach for a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned the adult male victim had been robbed at gunpoint by two other adult male subjects, at a residence in the 8800 block of US Highway 50.

Eight Carson City youth graduate 10-week wilderness program

On Thursday, eight Carson City youth graduated from a ten-week wilderness program designed for minors who have been court ordered on probation and into the program.
According to Ali Banister, Chief of Juvenile Services in Carson City, the participants embarked on a “transformative ten-week adventure,” which totaled over 300 hours of “intense learning and personal growth.”
